Dear Patient,

We would like to inform you of an upcoming change to our insurance participation.

Effective April 18, 2026, Suburban Psychiatric Specialists will no longer be in-network with MassHealth Standard. We will continue to be in-network with the MGB Medicaid plan.

What this means for you:

• If MassHealth Standard is your primary insurance:
  Please contact MassHealth and request to switch to the MGB Medicaid plan to remain in-network with our practice.

• If MassHealth Standard is your secondary insurance:
  You may be responsible for deductibles, copays, or coinsurance that were previously covered by MassHealth Standard.

• This change does not affect:

  • Patients with Medicare as primary insurance who are enrolled in QMB

  • Patients who have completed financial hardship paperwork and received a waiver from our office

We encourage you to make any necessary changes as soon as possible to avoid any interruption in care.
